BEST HOME REMEDIES FOR SPLIT ENDS

Don't brush when wet. Wet hair is much more fragile than dry hair, so towel dry your hair first before brushing. When brushing use a wide toothed comb or a soft bristle brush avoid nylon bristles at all costs. If you have long hair don't try to comb out knots you will only cause more damage. Its best to separate tangled hair into sections and then untangle your hair with your fingers.
One may make a smooth paste by mashing 2 ripe bananas and adding half cup beaten curd to it. This paste is to be applied along the length of the hair from root to tip. The hair may then be piled up to a bun and kept for about 15 minutes. Shampooing is to be done after this. This treatment will definitely make the hair soft.

Egg goes first- Split the yolk and the egg white and beat the egg white carefully. Add a tablespoon of water to the yolk and combine until it becomes smooth. Mix the egg white and the yolk. Wet you hair using warm water, get rid of the extra moisture and apply the mixture to your scalp. Rinse with cool water. Do this repeatedly. Keep on rinsing until no egg is left behind.

Take two ripe bananas and mash it properly. Add half cup of beaten curd into the mashed banana and mix it properly. Apply this mixture to your scalp and also cover the end of your hair with this paste. Leave this paste for 15 minutes and then shampoo your hair in a routine way. A dramatic change in the texture of your hair can be noticed.

Take some coconut milk and boil with some slices of pandanus leaf. When the oil has bubbled up, let it cool. Before retiring for the night, coat your hair with this concoction and cover it (hair) up with a towel or anything you find convenient. The next morning, shampoo your hair as usual. Try this treatment for one week for best results.

To apply this homemade hair care, put a generous amount of mayonnaise on your dry hair. Massage your head for ten minutes. Let it sit for another thirty minutes to fully penetrate the strands. Shampoo thoroughly and rinse it off with water. Do not worry about its smell; the shampoo will take care of that. Finish it off with your regular conditioner.
Henna is a plant, which has been used for generations as a natural dye. It helps to remove dandruff and acts as a great natural conditioner. Henna is now available in power, which can be bought in shops that sell native African, Indian or Arabic products. Take about 500 g of henna powder and mix it with half a cup of lemon and 50 g of yogurt. Keep in overnight in the fridge. Apply it evenly throughout your scalp and hair, and keep it for an hour. Rinse thoroughly and shampoo your hair if necessary. Repeat this once every week.

Wear a cap while swimming. Try to air dry hair as much as possible instead of using dryers. Avoid chemical treatments or styling. Use more of natural products on hair. Do not shampoo very often. Trim the split endsregularly. Eat healthy food and exercise to boost the blood circulation.
