USEFUL HOME REMEDIES FOR STOMACH ACHE

Now-a-days stomach illness is a very common problem. Stomach discomfort may be felt anywhere between the chest and groin. Always consult with a doctor if you have a serious condition or a long term illness. There are natural remedies that you may already have in your kitchen pantry that may help prevent or relieve a stomach ache.
One of the oldest and most common home remedies for a stomach ache is ginger. But, a lot of people don't tend to have ginger around, so instead they use ginger ale. What you will find is that you don't want to drink all of the carbonation, you want to make sure that you have just what you need and you need to make sure that you are drinking a flat ginger ale so that you are feeling better. This will help you settle down your stomach and this will help you feel that much better.

Lemon tea with honey is known to be very effective in case of gas. Massaging fresh ginger juice at the site of pain can also relieve stomach ache

Charcoal is another great way to cure an upset stomach. Just mix some activated charcoal with hot water and drink. Charcoal acts as a neutralizer, absorbing whatever is bothering you and taking it to the colon. Activated Charcoal has been used in the treatment of toxic events for almost 100 years with a remarkable record of safety.

Some herbs has the power to enhance the process of digestion. These include Ginger, peppermint and Aloe Vera extract. You can extract the juice from these substances and have it with honey. This is an effective remedy to cure stomach ache.

Upset stomachs from stress, such as public speaking, may respond well to this herb. It may cause drowsiness, so find out how you handle it before driving, etc. Don't use it if you are pregnant, as it can cause uterine contractions, and it does cross the placental barrier. Ask the pediatrician before giving this to a child. There are also drug/herb interactions.

Calcium Montmorillonite Clay aka Kanwa Minerals is a unique remedy that works much like antacids by neutralizing harmful acids, as well as absorbing toxins in the stomach. It's one of the easiest natural remedies that are known to offer quick results. Homeopathic doctors recommend using a teaspoon of Kanwa powder and mixing with a 4-6 oz glass of water.

You can mix your own antacid with simple baking soda: mix a half-teaspoon of baking soda with a half glass of water. However, because baking soda is a sodium compound (sodium bicarbonate), you should not use this remedy if you have high blood pressure or are on a sodium-restricted diet. Bland foods such as crackers can also help calm down stomach acids.
